We are a bright and friendly class, who always try our best. Mrs Arnold is our teacher while Ms Tanju and Miss Wimalasuriya are our amazing teaching assistants who support us daily.
Our class is named after the author Jacqueline Wilson. She has written lots of exciting children’s books such as: ‘Tracy Beaker’, ‘Best Friends’ and ‘Hetty Feather’.
Year six is a very important year and we must be fantastic role-models to the rest of the school. This involves carrying out important jobs and setting a good example for others. Year six responsibilities include: ringing the bell at the correct times, giving out the registers, distributing letters and ensuring that the youngest children in the school are safe and happy. We also have the opportunity to become Prefects and Head Boy or Head Girl. This is an excellent opportunity that is only available to year six students.
Each term will be based on a different topic, as detailed below:
Autumn Term – The Bard
Spring Term – Mayan/Castaway
Summer Term – The Time of your Life
You will be pleased to hear that we will be going on a residential school trip (PGL) in the Summer term.
We have high expectations and love to see children producing work that they are really proud of.
