Year 4 – Milne

Welcome to Milne Class!

 Miss Calvert

Hello everyone!

Our class teacher is Miss Calvert and our teaching assistant is Mr Wheeler.

Our class is named after the author A A Milne. He is most well-known for writing “Winnie the Pooh”, as well as a collection of poems. We have been writing our own poems in the style of Milne, called ‘If I were King….’.  We had lots of imaginative, creative and wacky ideas for what we would do if we ruled over the land!

Our classroom is a vibrant and  exciting place to learn. Our topic for this term is ‘Survival!’ We will be learning about famous survival experts, how to read grid references, and how to build our own shelters.  Our book corner has even become an explorers’ den!

We have an exciting year ahead of us, full of engaging learning opportunities.  This year our topics will be :

Ancient Greece

The Romans

Thanks for visiting our class page and we hope to see you soon!
