Senior Leadership Team and Staff Structure.

Come and meet our staff team!

Let us start by introducing  introduce our Senior Leadership Team:

As Executive Headteacher, Mr Cooke oversees all aspects of the school and its operation. Miss Clarkson and Miss Cosstick are his deputies and can represent him in all respects whenever he is unavailable.  Mr Cooke, Miss Clarkson and Miss Cosstick work together very closely and are very visible throughout the school on a daily basis.  The Headship Team very much enjoy spending regular time in classes, talking to the children and making sure that nothing but the very best is provided for them at all times!

Mr Cooke, Executive Headteacher

Miss Clarkson – Deputy Headteacher

Miss Cosstick – Deputy Headteacher

In addition to Mr Cooke, Miss Clarkson and Miss Cosstick, the Senior Leadership Team of the school is completed by The Director of Teaching and Learning, who holds direct, overall responsibility for the quality of teaching in our school, the Phase Leaders, who each hold management level accountability for the teaching, learning and welfare of two specific year groups, our Inclusion Manager who manages all SEN, EAL and More Able provision and our Pupil Premium and Sports Manager.  While it is very often your child’s class teacher who will be your point of contact, if you do wish to speak to a member of management, you will be able to find exactly who you need from the pictures below!

Mrs Waters: Director of Teaching and Learning.

Mrs Leeder: Inclusion Manager and Phase Leader for Nursery and Reception years.

Miss Moir: Phase Leader for Years One and Two.

Miss Cain: Phase Leader for Years Three and Four.

Mrs Morris: Phase Leader for Years Five and Six.

The Senior Leadership Team  very much value the visibility that keeps them well in touch with our children and community.  They will all aim to be available on the school playground each morning and afternoon, at drop off and collection times. As all four will aim to be there every day, the reality is that, even if one or two of them are caught up, on any specific day you can be relatively sure of seeing at least one of them in the playground each morning.

Our managers are privileged and proud to lead a wider team of wholly dedicated and talented professionals.  From our teachers to our office staff, from the site manager to our teaching assistants, from the school cook to the school cleaners, each and every member of the Beddington Park Primary School staff are proud to be part of our community, and have nothing but the very best interests of your child at the very centre of everything they do!

The manner in which all of the different roles and responsibilities within our school, combine to make our successful, exciting and unique school, is  a complex and interesting picture!  The document below gives a very simplified overview of the basic structure of key aspects of our school.

However, perhaps a much nicer way of getting to know who we all are is to click on  the ‘Who’s Who?‘ section of this website.  Here, you will see a photo of all of us, together with a brief description of the roles that we all undertake.  Of course, the very best way of getting to know us is to come up and say ‘hello’!

We look forward to seeing you soon!
