At Beddington Park Primary, our clubs and extra-curricular activities are truly bespoke! They are targeted to ensure that all opportunities genuinely complement and extend learning! Our curriculum is supported by a true abundance of opportunities to visit places of historical, artistic, scientific and geographic places of interest. These would include farms, museums, galleries, workshops, theatre and exhibitions to name but a few. All of these are planned, sourced and tailored by class teachers, and will be based on the needs and interests of the children. Our school also offers a wide range of clubs and activities. To date, everything from Football to cooking, from Lego to choir and from reading to street dance have all been offered! But actually, the truly wonderful thing about our clubs is the that the scope for activities is potentially limitless! You see, the children are provided with several suggestion boxes around the school, into which they can pour their thoughts and ideas. If there is a club that they would really like to run, all they have to do is let us know, and if at all possible, we will run it! Many of the clubs that we have running currently, together with those that we have previously run, have started life in the suggestions of our children! As you can see then, the list of club-based activities on offer to our children at any one time can vary widely, so please make sure that you check back here every half term to see what’s new! Some examples of the clubs we run are :-
- STEM Club (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics)
- Football Club
- Handball Club
- Magic Club
- Chess Club
- Lego Club
- Art Club
- Gymnastics Club
